Objective: Seeking a position with an equine facility where I can continue to develop my riding
and horse management skills. The ideal position will enable me to continue working
with green horses, while continuing to improve upon the finer points of training with
more advanced horses.


Highly motivated, dedicated, knowledgeable rider seeking temporary summer

position employing my experience working with all levels of horses. Skills include
equine preventative health care, barn management, business administration
(including Microsoft Office), lunging and ground driving as well as years of
experience in hunter/jumpers, dressage, and natural horsemanship.

Selected Accomplishments/Skills:

Knowledgeable in basic dressage, intermediate jumping (experienced up to 36), and

natural horsemanship
Experience working horses of different breeds and levels of training
Very competent in lunging and ground driving
Proficient in teaching lessons to varied levels of students
Worked with many top level trainers including: Will Simpson, Harriet Bunker, Ron Danta,
Nicole Thngen, Rusty Miller, Russ Walther, Bernie Traurig, Carol Kozlowski, and Hank
Participated in the 2012 USHJA Emerging Athletes Program
Competitor on the University of Findlays Hunt Seat Intercollegiate Equestrian Team for 4 years
Member of the University of Findlays Intercollegiate Dressage Team for 4 years

Barn Management/Equine Care

Knowledgeable regarding feeding, care, turnout, and correctly handling vet and farrier
Well-versed in all aspects of barn safety
Capable of preventative care and post-injury care of minor wounds, hoof, and soft tissue
Able to administer medication orally, IM, or IV
Experience driving trucks & gooseneck or bumper pull trailers (maximum 6 horses)
Experience operating tractors, skid-steers, utility task vehicles, and riding mowers
