First ladies and gentlemen I would like to introduce the distinguished judges. They are

Now I would like to highlight the competition rules for Action Songs.
This competition is open to Year 3 pupils only.
Each team should comprise of 5 to 15 pupils.
Each team is allocated 5 8 minutes to present their item.
A bell will be rung at 8th minute. Marks will be deducted thereafter.
The timing of the presentation starts with the first movement or first word uttered
by the singers.
Lyrics can be original or adapted.
Contestants are not allowed to refer to any notes or texts during presentation.
Participants should wear appropriate costumes in line with the characters they
portray.
Use of recorded music is allowed. ( only minus one music )
And finally the decision of the judges is final and individual team marks will not be
disclosed.

After this we are going to continue with Choral Speaking Competition. There are six schools
taking part in this competition. Teachers please get your contestants ready for the competition.
First let me read out the rules and regulations for Choral Speaking.
This competition is open to pupils from Year 4 to Year 6 only.
Year 3 pupils are allowed to participate if they are from under enrolled schools.
Each team is given a presentation time limit of 5 to 8 minutes.
A bell will be rung at 8th minute.
Marks will be deducted thereafter.
Each team should comprise of 30 to 35 pupils .
A conductor should be appointed among these pupils .
Participants are not allowed to refer to any notes or printed materials during the presentation.
All participants should be in school uniform when competing.
