Rights and expanded by decisions of the United States Supreme Court; analyze and evaluate landmark
cases of the United States Supreme Court concerning civil rights and liberties of individuals
OBJECTIVE USING BLOOMS TAXONOMY:
Students will be able to analyze and list the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.

How to the Bill of Rights affect our lives today? How would the United States be different if the Bill of
Rights didnt exist or if some were not in the Constitution?

INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURES:
WHAT DOES THE TEACHER DO?
I will tell the students to go to https://www.icivics.org/games/bill-of-rights
I will explain to the students how to play the game.
I will have the students make sure to remember how they did during the game.
I will lead discussion to see how the students think the game helped them in understanding the Bill of Rights

WHAT DO THE STUDENTS DO?


The students will go to https://www.icivics.org/games/bill-of-rights
The students will watch as I play the game.
The students will play to game.
The students will write down/remember how they did on the game
The students will discuss with the class how they felt about the game and how it included learning the Bill of
Rights

ASSESSMENT (TIED TO OBJECTIVES):


Students will be tested of their knowledge of the Constitution and be able to identify the Bill of Rights
