Domestic violence is the leading cause of

injury to women between the ages of 15 and

44 in the United States, more than car
accidents, muggings, and rapes combined.

It is estimated that over 700,000 people are

trafficked each year although it is not known
exactly how many are women. Most of these
women are trafficked for sexual exploitation.

1 in 3 women suffer from

sexual harassment in
workplace.

Cant we eat a lot

as men?
Cant we work as
much as men?

WE CAN,
INDEED WE
PROVE WE
HAVE.

Dont we prove ourselves worthy to

be respected?

AINT WE HUMAN?

India
For girls living in India, virginity and purity is
given the utmost importance, not education.
This notion, combined with the nations poor
economic conditions, requires the girls to work
to aid the family. People, moreover, are afraid
to send their female children to schools in far
away locations, where male teachers instruct
them alongside the boys.

AINT WE
HUMAN?

Cambodia
Almost the entire educated class in Cambodia was
eradicated when the forceful Khmer Rouge
assumed power in the 1970s. The aftermath can
still be seen today, as most womens education
comes to a halt at the onset of, or before, puberty,
with only 15 percent of women seeking higher
education. For the overwhelming majority of
women, their fate is to suffer from domestic
violence or marital rape and work in the rice fields
or as prostitutes as early as age 13.

AINT WE
HUMAN?

Every year 15 million girls are married as children,

denied their rights to health, education and
opportunity, and robbed of their childhood.

If we do nothing, by 2030
an estimated 16.5 million
girls a year will marry as
children.

AINT WE
HUMAN?

Every human deserves

rights to be respected,
rights to have freedom,
rights to get education,
and RIGHTS TO BE OURSELVES,

THIS INCLUDES:
EVERY WOMAN
WE ARE HUMAN.

WE SHOULD BE RESPECTED.

WE SHOULD BE PROTECTED.
WE SHOULD BE TREATED EQUALLY.
WE SHOULD BE GIVEN OUR RIGHTS.
WE ARE HUMAN, AINT WE?

WE ARE WOMAN,
NO MATTER,
WHERE WE ARE,
WHAT WE DO,
WHAT RACES WE ARE,
WE ARE ONE.

WE ARE HUMAN
RESPECT US
