1-Childs Characteristics

Paragraph describing setting of observation and selection of child observed: Child (A) is a
Beautiful light shin little girl with curly black hair. She weigh about 65 lbs. she is 4 years old, and
Very active and physically fit. She is healthy and in the right range for her height and weight.
She has one other sibling and she is the older of the two. While observing her I notice that she
Join in with the activity but she like playing alone.

2 Childs interests
(Specific to the learning environment)This child was interested in everything the teacher was
Teaching them after breakfast, she joined in with the activity and interact with the other
Children but she spends a lot of time in the block area after the activity playing by herself she
Talk to the other children while she is during her thing but she stay with the blocks. One day she
Sat at a table, building a castle with putty, she spend about 30 to 35 munities doing that alone
And seems was very happy. The Learning environment she create for herself is very healthy for
her.

3 Childs need
(Specific to healthy typical development)This child need interaction with her teacher
And time with the other children in her class but she is very happy being alone also, she
Spend a total of 1 and hour alone of the two days I observed her playing with blocks
And toys, and making objects seems to be very happy during it. Although she plays by
Herself she has a healthy development typically for a child her age.

4 - Childs interactions with peers, environment and adults: This child interaction with peers
and adults is very strong. Although she plays by herself she still took time to play with one
Little girl, and she pays attention to whats going on around her and listen to the teacher at
the same time. She is involve in building blocks and building castle but she seems to be able
to multitask, she can communicate with her peers and teacher and understand what is going
on around her.

5 Childs learning strengths and limitations: This child learning strengths is very developed
for her age, she understands positive integration with others she understand effective
Strategies and the use of tools for learning. She understand visual art by building art project,
She can communicate with the other children in her group, and develop appropriate goals,
She can use assessment those goals, She is able to understand the teacher when she
Explained the lesson of the day to them and what they will be during that day.
