Introduction

In this assessment we did two science experiment for the teacher how she
can teach the students. We did it as a group work, me and my colleague
Fatima. We faced many difficulties, but we have overcome of them. Firstly,
how we can choose the topic of the experiment. Than how we can find some
examples and which apps we can use it to create the video. However we
solve the issue easy. The Photograph experiment was taking a long time
because its harder to Photography and thorough recording at the same time,
Exceptional if you dont have somebody can helps you as what is faced me.

Objectives of the science Activity


Students will discover the five sense, the teacher explain for the students the
experiment. Students will explore the popcorn taste, touch, hear, sight and
smell and clue the five sense pictures, write the reasons on the paper. The
students will do it in group of 5 or the teacher can do it with hull class. At the
end of the lesson the students will be able to know the five sense and
everybody has the five senses.

Aims for Grade and Age


The Aims of this assessment especially for 6 to 7 years old. In this age the
students start learn about their self. Its for grade two because in this grade
the teacher start give the students in science subject all about their self.
They are take in grade one how they can care their self. The aims of the five
senses in this assessment is use the five senses to discover properties of
objects in the environment (The Five Senses - Objective Grid, 2016).

Description of The process skills+ 5Es


I.

The Observing is the students start focusing at the experiment to see


whats happen and the phenomenon that occurring. The teacher can
observing by using the five senses. Using words to describe what is
seen, felt, heard, smelled, and (if appropriate) tasted (5Es Overview:
The 5E instructional model, 2016) . Notice details. Break things into

parts. Name and describe the parts (elementaryschool, 2016). Draw what
you see and label parts of the drawing. For example as I saw in
kindergarten the teacher have to observe the students saw when the
students play and the teacher saw how they act.

The Classifying Group objects or events according to common


attributes or properties. When the students start isolation depend on the
size, color, the texture and its depend to the categories (elementaryschool,
2016). For example most of girls like to classifying their shows such as

each tips of shows in different shelf.

The Communicating Conducting and receiving information presented in


various forms: verbal, graphical or pictorial. When the students work in
group and had a desiccation about the experiment. Sharing ideas
through talking and listening, drawing and labeling pictures, drawing
and labeling graphs and acting things out (elementaryschool, 2016).
For example last semester at the school in Arabic lesson the teacher
give the student one topic, than the students had a group desiccation
about the topic or picture the teacher show them.

IV.

The Explore stage is to get students involved in the topic; providing


them with a chance to build their own understanding. The teacher acts
as a facilitator, providing materials and guiding the students' focus.
The students' inquiry process drives the instruction during an
exploration.

V.

The Evaluating making a judgment about the worth of data, ideas,


objects or events. The purpose in this stage is for both students and

teachers to determine how much learning and understanding has


taken place (5Es Overview: The 5E instructional model, 2016). For
example this semester after each lesson Dr.Mindy made for us some
activity to evaluate, if we are understand the lesson or not.

Three science activities suitable the 5Es

I.

The first experiment connecting to the observing, the teacher give the
tools for the students and the students start to do the experiment.
Than they try to focusing to phenomenon the occurring. The students
describe what is seen, felt, heard and smelled. In addition its
connecting to the Classifying because in this experiment the students
try to sorting by the five senses. Finally, is connecting to the
Communicating because the students conducting and receiving
information presented in various between others.

II.

The second experiment combine than explore. The students start get
involve understand the five senses. The teacher give them the material
for the students. The students start follow the instruction of the
experiment. The students get understand the five senses.

III.

The third experiment is the worksheet, so the teacher can evaluate the
students how they understand the five senses. Its mean the teacher
making a judgment to see, how the students are learn from the
experiment.
