Born March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany

Famous Physicist
Agonist, not atheist
Husband (2 wives)
Fathered (3 children)
Of German nationality
Of Jewish descent
Known to have bad memory
Had delayed speech development as a child
Developed the breakthrough Theory of Relativity.

Won the Nobel Prize in Physics for "for his services to

Theoretical Physics, and especially for his discovery
of the law of the photoelectric effect".

Developed famous equation E = MC.

Some of his favorite scientists were Galileo &
Newton

Unable to find work in Switzerland as a teacher in

Physics/Mathematics; Einstein then worked at a patent office
developing his remarkable theories.
Became Director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Physical Institute and
Professor in the University of Berlin in 1914.
He lived in Berlin until 1933 when he left Germany for
political reasons - Nazi takeover.
Was hated by Hitler for being Jewish and spreading Jewish
Science.
Left Germany in time to escape Nazi uprising.
Moved to America to take the position of Professor of
Theoretical Physics at Princeton University.
Became U.S. citizen in 1940 and retired from his position in
1945.
Warned President Roosevelt that the Nazis might be
developing the atomic bomb and that the U.S. should hurry
to develop our own.
Was offered Presidency of Israel - which was created after
WWII - he politely declined.
Was famous for having thought experiments.

Died in Princeton, NJ on April 18, 1955.

Mileva Einstein (Maric)

Einsteins first wife. He met Mileva at

Zurich Polytechnic School (both
students) in Serbia in 1906. They were
married on June 2, 1919. Mileva was
also a physicists and the only women
among their fellow classmates.

Albert and Mileva had three children

together: Lieserl, Hans, and Eduard.
They divorced in 1906 do to
complications with jealousy, neglect, and
the presence of Einstein's first cousin
Elsa. The divorce became adamant
when Mileva refused to accept Einstein's
famous marriage contract.

Lieserl, Hans, and Eduard

Einstein had a illegitimate daughter
with Mileva while still attending school.
Their daughters fate is unknown to this
day. Either she was given up for
adoption, was mentally challenged and
raised by Milevas parents, or died
early in life due to scarlet fever. Their
sons shown left were raised by both
Einstein and Mileva however.

Elsa Einstein
(Lowenthal)

Einsteins second wife and first

cousin. Elsa was more of a wife
than Mileva was.

She cooked, cleaned, treated

Einstein like a king -- some say
as a scheme to gain fame for
herself through Einstein .

Hermann and Pauline Einstein

Though both Jewish, Einstein's parents

did not raise him Jewish (the religion).
In fact Einstein attended a Catholic
school at one point. Einstein's father
even believed that religion stemmed
from something of an ancient fairy tale.

Einstein sought religion himself. For

a while he was a faithful Jew and
eventually left the religion to
become an agonist instead. Some
people have called Einstein an
atheists which he has deemed very
offensive always stating he is not.

Chaim Weizmann

Fellow scientist of Jewish descent who

elected first President of Israel. Practiced
science in various fields of Chemistry.
Become known as the Father of industrial
fermentation for discovering how to use
bacterial fermentation to produce huge
amounts of given substances.

Met Albert Einstein while both in route

to America to collect money for the
Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He and
Einstein became quick friends. On one
of his later visits to America he visited
Einstein. When Weizmann died, David
Gurion (founder of state of Israel)
proposed Einstein take Weizmanns
position as President of Israel. Einstein
declined the offer.

Satyendra Nath
Bose

Indian physicist who worked with Einstein

on the Bose-Einstein Condensate. Bose
originally reached out to Einstein to help
get his papers published on the properties
and behaviors of photons. When Einstein
wondered if the same principles were true

for atoms is when the two worked

together to embark across condensation
creating the famous Bose-Einstein
Condensate.

Wander Johannes
De Haas
Dutch Physicist most famous for his work
with Einstein. Haas and Einstein formulated
the Einstein-de Haas Effect. Together they
embarked on an understanding of
magnetism, angular momentum, and
spinning elementary particles.

Niels Bohr
Danish physics, who created elaborate
and closely accurate ideas as to how the
atom was constructed, was an award
winning physics himself. Albert Einstein
would use his model of the atom to
further develop his own as well as further
his creation of the quantum theory.

The Brilliant Albert Einstein is Awarded Nobel Prize

Albert Einstein of Kaiser
Wilhelm-Institut fr Physik in
Berlin, Germany has won the
Nobel Prize in Physics 1921 for
"for his services to Theoretical
Physics, and especially for his
discovery of the law of the
that leaves everyone, even fellow
photoelectric effect". Yet
another great achievement for physics, in astonishment.

Einstein knows no limits and theoretical physics. The basic
continues to produce work
explanation of the Photoelectric

effect is that metals will emit

electrons when exposed to a
form of electromagnetic
energy. If the amplitude of
energy being exposed to the
electron(s) is great enough the
electron(s) will be ejected from
their atom, thus termed
photoelectrons. Einstein has be
awarded the grand prize
amount of $14, 677.00.
Magnificent work of the Great
Albert Einstein once again!

Autopsy of Einsteins Brain

Report

Albert Einsteins brain has been

removed by Thomas Stoltz
Harvey with permission from
Hans Albert Einstein, Einstein's
eldest son. Autopsy shows that
Einstein had much more glial
cells in the region of the brain
that synthesizes information. His
brain also lacked a wrinkle, the
Sylvian fissure, that may have
enabled his brain neurons to
better communicate. Einstein had

a relatively dense brain. His

parietal lobe - related to
mathematical capabilities, was
considerably larger than the
average brain as well. In
conclusion, Einsteins brain
leaves us in amazement and
with curiosity of whether his
intelligence was due to his
abnormal brain or if his
abnormal brain was due to his
intelligence.

Photoelectric Effect
The photoelectric effect is the ejection of electrons from matter that has absorbed
electromagnetic energy in the form of light, X-rays, microwaves, radio waves, ultraviolet
radiation, etc. The ejected electrons are called photoelectrons. When electromagnetic
waves (whichever source) hits an electron within one of the atoms the metal, or material
is made up of, energy is transferred to it. If the amplitude, or intensity of the energy
(waveform) is great enough the electron will come out of the atom completely creating
the photoelectric effect.

Theory of Relativity
Space is a dimension that appears to be alterable by
how we perceive it in relation to our bodies. Simple
relativity + general relativity = theory of relativity. Simple
relativity states that the speed of light is the same for
every observer despite how fast or slow they are
moving and despite the direction they are moving.
General relativity states that time, matter, and space
must coexist to exist. In theory, Newtons three laws of
motion are only true to the extent of the observer and
what is occurring, or what they perceive has occurred,
relative to them. The theory also states that light
doesn't bend - space bends, and matter can bend
space. In fact, matter and energy are directly

linked. E=MC > the energy

core of an object is
equivalent to its mass
times the speed of light
squared.

Bose-Einstein Condensate
The new state of matter, Condensation, is when gas
T
combines and condenses directly into a liquid. When gases
slow down they begin to collect and form a liquid. Bose
had sparked an idea in my (Einsteins) brain. Boses original
idea was that light was a collection of photons. I (Einstein)
assumed the same applied to atoms as well. However
atoms operated on different properties than that of light
and that atoms were morely affected by energy levels.
Where the temperature changed considerably - through
coming in contact with hotter/colder temps., we predicted
the atom changed as well and this came to be known as
condensation.

Unified Field Theory

Just as Maxwell unified electricity and magnetism into electromagnetism, I believe the
basic forces of physics and matter at its core are infact unified as well. Gravity, which
Ive done much work with, is indeed much more than a force and all forces of nature
are unified.

To Be
Continued/Discontinued. ?
*Einstein was not able to complete this -his very last theory.
He literally worked on it, on his deathbed, until the day he
died.

That is Who Albert

Einstein Was.
THE END

Dear Reader,
My topic of choice was chosen because it was guaranteed to capture my attention for the duration of the
timeframe we had. Albert Einstein was obviously involved in the sciences, which have captured my interest from
an early age, but particularly Physics. Einstein was a must because this was also my first year taking a physics
course. I thought of myself as killing two birds with one stone with Einstein as a topic of choice. My order of
genres start from the most basic to the complex details about Einstein and his life. In completion of this project I
had somewhat ease with the basic biographical details and creating genres for those such as the photo book, birth
certificate, and biography summary. However the more complex part of research particularly Einsteins
scientific journal was horrific in trying to construct. This was by far the part that was the most challenging. Not
only did I have to try to muster an understanding of Einsteins work but I had to try to explain it a simply as
possible - while making it look like his (Einstein's) personal journal. Though challenging this part wasnt
necessarily my least enjoyed part. My least enjoyed part was not in researching/understanding Einstein's works
but in trying to explain it very clearly to the reader - it was frustrating knowing it could of been explained clearer
even though some of his theories are struggled upon to be explained by people all over the world. Some people
even win awards for being able to explain his theories/works simplistically. I enjoyed putting the project together
(Visual attractiveness part) and learning about one of my favorite scientist, Albert Einstein. I definitely liked this
approach to research better than a traditional paper because I feel like I simply learned more and got a better
understanding of Einstein that is going to stay in my memory unlike what a traditional paper would've given me.
