For BA/US/IB - EXCHANGES MUST BE PROCESSED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DATE CHANGE OR AS APR. Failure to process within 24 hours will result to flight cancellation and will be

If value of the original fare is less than change/cancellation penalty of the airline, passenger forfeits the ticket if not used and losses the value of the ticket.
If value of the original fare is less than the change penalty but more than the SU fee and ONLY if issued as SUMOR, please cancel flights if refundable and email OPS to refund but invoice the
residuals as SU9908. Please ONLY process if passenger absolutely confirms ticket is not going to be USED. Advise passenger to purchase another ticket online.
IF status of ticket is anything BUT OPEN, we cannot reissue ticket. CKIN/SUSP flight coupon status MUST be re-opened by contacting airline.
IF change is ONLY on the return journey and fare difference + change fee is more than change fee, present option of changing return dates after departure except for BA/US and IB provided meet
minimum and maximum stay of the ticket.
NO DUPLICATE BOOKING!! Airlines will cancel both flights and reinstating flights is considered a date change and applicable fees and fare difference will apply.

Sorting:
The first shopping option is always the current itinerary (option 0 possibly with the booking class changes).
The alternate shopping options display from low to high starting with negative (refund) values first.
The system returns CANCEL/START over option(purchase new ticket) for the current itinerary if the lowest buy new ticket price is lower than the lowest reissue price.
A banner message will the cancel/start over amount displays before option 0.
Below are some examples of Header and Banner messages.
If the current itinerary is already booked at the lowest fare and the system returns no alternate options, the system displays the following message:
CURRENT ITINERARY - ALREADY BOOKED AT LOWEST AVAIL FARE
If the system returns no re-price solution for the current itinerary but alternate itinerary options exist, the system displays an error message for the current itinerary along with the alternate itinerary
options.
UNABLE TO PRICE CURRENT ITINERARY
If the current itinerary has a lower fare option and the system returns no other alternate itinerary options, the systems displays or If the current itinerary is already booked in the lowest fare inventory
but needs to be rebooked, the system displays the following message

When a cancel/start over ost is a cheaper solution for the current itinerary, the system displays the following message:
