Some things you may or may not know about this supposed “Rapture”

See For Yourself The Rapture is real...right?

Scriptures that prove the Rapture Wrong
Wrong. Through this study, we will look at why there is no said “rapture” of the saints.
• 1 Thes. 4.13-18
• 1 Thes. 5.1-3
• Hebrews 9.28 Quick Facts
• 2 Thes. 1.6-10
FACT: The word “rapture” is found nowhere in the Bible. The term in Latin rapio means “to
snatch” and the corresponding Greek word is harpazo, signifying “caught up.” The closest
we find to these terms is in 2 Cor. 12.2-4, Acts 8.39, John 5.28-29, Acts 24.15, and 1 Thes.
4.17. And even then they’re don’t use the actual idea or term for rapture.

FACT: The events of this supposed “rapture” foretold of in the book of Revelation have
already happened. The events depicted in Revelation 20 by John the Apostle in his vision on
the island of Patmos have been gravely misunderstood.

FACT: When Christ comes back at the end of time, it will be one single event just as it is
described in 2 Thes. 1.6-10. No “seven year tribulation” or “thousand-year reign.”

FACT: The idea of this “rapture” did not even appear until the 1800s.

The Rapture and Dispensationalism

According to the idea of dispensationalism (a big ridiculous word for the Rapture) Christ will
come back three times - once in his Resurrection (already happened) once during the
Rapture (not going to happen), and then a third time at the end of the 7-year tribulation
period to begin his 1,000-year reign on the earth (again, not going to happen). So, I guess
Hebrews 9.28 (along with other passages) is just wrong then. Christ will only come back to
this earth one more time, and that will be to take the righteous to Heaven with Him.

The Rapture is fiction...nothing more

When thinking about the Rapture, you have to ask these very logical questions: Why would
all of the New Testament writers not tell us about this directly if it wasn’t important? Why
would Jesus come to reign for a thousand years on an imperfect earth? And most
importantly: if I am going to get a second chance when Jesus comes back in the Rapture to
give my life back to Christ for 7 years or whatever, what reason is there for me to even try to
live correctly now?

The Rapture is an unfounded, contradictory idea to the very

nature of the Bible. It is man-made fiction, nothing more.
