Infinitives
Usage:

When one verb follows another with no conjugation between them, the 1st verb is
conjugated and the 2nd remains an infinitive except in past tense.

Ex: Je veux suivre ce cours.

Jai mang au restaurant.
When pronominal verbs are used as infinitives following a conjugated verb, the
reflexive pronoun agrees with the subject of the main verb

Ex: Nous esprons nous inscrire sans problmes.

A verb appears in its infinitive form following a preposition
Ex:Il travaille afin davoir de bonnes notes la fin de lanne.
After aprs, use the past infinitive
Ex: Aprs avoir fini ses tudes, elle est retourne chez ses parents.
An infinitive can be the subject of a sentence
Ex: Choisir une universit, cest difficile.
Formation:
Use infinitive avoir or tre + past participle of the main verb
