Order out of chaos philosophy
The Imperial cult was inseparable
from that of Rome's official deities,
whose cult was essential to Rome's
survival and whose neglect was
therefore treasonous.
The cult brought people together
since they worshiped the same thing.

The Romans invented concrete which helped
them build better roads and other buildings
A lot of Roman roads and aqueducts are still in
use today
At the height of the Roman Empire, it is
estimated that one could travel across the length
of the Empire in just a few months, at a distance
of a few thousand miles.
Most of the infrastructure went to support the
military as a fast reaction force
Rome had running water and plumbing systems

The paved roads were built like
modern roads but can last longer

city. The longest of these was nearly
60 miles
