working with a partner.

Scoops Toss
1. Roll the ball and pick up with the scoop
2. Toss the ball back and forth and catch with the scoop
3. Toss the ball with the scoop and catch with the scoop
4. Toss the ball with the scoop, let it bounce once, catch with scoop
5. While both kneeing, toss and catch the ball
6. While both sitting down, toss and catch the ball
Game Content- Include Rule Modifications and progression, rules:
Animal Tag
Toe to toe
Separate half the class to one line and then the others to another line
Line one turns around, while line two decides on an animal
Once animal is decided, line one turns back around and line two imitates the animal
Line one tries to guess and once the guess is correct they chase line 2 back to their line

Student 1 excellent job keeping your eyes on the ball.
Student 2 great job catching the ball with the scoop, next time try to not throw the ball too high so
your partner can catch it and I will come back to check up on you two.

Lesson Extension:
You guys can go home and make your own scoops! With your parents help, you can cut up a gallon
of milk, and use that as a scooper. For a ball you can use anything that is circular in shape.
