To whom it may concern:

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for
Ryan Whitehorse. I have had the privilege of serving as Ryans
University Supervisor as he fulfilled his internship prerequisite, his
elementary, and his secondary student teaching requirements in the
Gilbert School District. It has been through this nearly year and a half
long interaction that I have been able to discover and understand who
Ryan is as a person, a professional and a teacher.
Ryan is a true professional. He shows efficiency in meeting all
deadlines, even exceeding most, without ever compromising the
quality, which is consistently exhibited, and has come to define him.
He is punctual, and reliable (he has been present and on time each and
every day of ALL of his student teaching experiences), and he is always
prepared. He goes above and beyond to improve his craft by seeking
out professional development opportunities and is proactive in
gathering ideas, suggestions and feedback from other teachers in
order to add valuable information to his repertoire. He is a
hardworking individual who has been able to balance a job while
maintaining high standing in his coursework, in addition to meeting the
rigorous demands of student teaching. And finally, he epitomizes
respect to those he encounters, at both the school and university
levels.
Ryan is devoted to quality physical education. He understands all that
it encompasses and works diligently to bring that integrity to any
program in which he finds himself. His goal is to provide this quality
type of experience to each and every one of his students.
Consequently, he takes the time to truly know his clientele, which
allows him to meet individual needs and to accommodate varying
learning styles.
Ryans lesson plans are meticulous, organized and sequential. He
begins with the end in mind with a clearly written objective. There is
no question for him, or his students as to what the days outcome will
be. He presents content in an understandable manner. By providing
demonstrations, modeling, task analyzing and creating analogies, he is
able to draw connections for his students and bring meaning to
otherwise foreign concepts.
Ryan has grown into an exemplary teacher and would be a valuable
asset to any school that chooses to make him part of its faculty. It is
for this reason, and the many listed above, that I recommend Ryan
Whitehorse for a position as a physical educator. Please feel free to

information.
Sincerely,

Tilda Richardson University Supervisor, Mary Lou Fulton Teachers
