Bachelors degree in Social Work, Community Dev elopment, and other related social
science courses required

At least fiv e years hands-on w ork experience in community dev elopment and project
management

Minimum tw o years solid experience in superv isory position in dev elopment w ork
Ability to understand/speak the local dialect is preferred.

The Area team leader w ill ov ersee the planning, implementation, monitoring and ev aluation of
priority projects at the municipal lev el making sure all projects and processes are aligned w ith the
project and child-centered community dev elopment (CCCD) approach. Consistent w ith the
projects management plan, the incumbent prov ides direction to the Community Dev elopment
Facilitators ensuring that they are able to carry out their tasks effectiv ely and efficiently.

Plan I nternational Philippines is currently implementing a multi-sectoral project that w ill prov ide access
to emergency employment and liv elihood support. The project aims to mitigate the adv erse social
and economic impacts on the poor resulting from Typhoon Yolanda in selected municipalities in the
Eastern Visayas.
