Bachelors degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or related courses; Certified

Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

Relev ant experience in Computer operations, Financial Management, People Management

At least fiv e (5) years solid exposure in the areas of accounting or financial management
Tw o (2) years w ork experience in superv isory role. Experience w ith non-gov ernment
organization is an adv antage

The Finance and Compliance Officer ensures that the project accounts are professionally handled,
budget properly monitored, all financial records, payment and procurement procedures, cash
handling etc are undertaken w ith high professional standards and are in compliance w ith Plans set
procedures and donor conditions. He/She also ensures that the project has proper control
mechanisms against fraud, mismanagement and embezzlement that is also in line w ith the countrys
law s and regulations. He/She facilitates external audit and internal rev iew.
Plan I nternational Philippines is currently implementing a multi-sectoral project that w ill prov ide access
to emergency employment and liv elihood support. The project aims to mitigate the adv erse social
and economic impacts on the poor resulting from Typhoon Yolanda in selected municipalities in the
Eastern Visayas.
