Reorganized the fiction section by genre, making browsing easier and more engaging for students. This process
included extensive weeding of and additions to the fiction collection, increasing the average publication date from
1997 to 2002
Increased student access to the library by allowing students to use the library before school and during lunch
periods. Students were able to check-out books and use the computers during these expanded hours
Established a social media presence and website for the library
Reorganized and de-cluttered the library to create a more comfortable and inviting space for learning
Established a monthly newsletter to communicate library news and information to teachers and administration
Developed and implemented a blended learning technology curriculum which is aligned to the Common Core
State Standards and the AASL Standards for the 21st Century Learner
Designed and oversaw the installation of two mini-computer labs in both libraries in order to implement blended
