    Introduction

    "The Spiritual Treasure of Concentration and Contemplation Sutra" (Lingbao Dingguan Jing) is
    included in the Dongxuan category of the Taoist Canon. The author is not known. References to this classic
    can be dated back to early Tang dynasty, i.e. 6th century A.D.
    This classic mainly deals with thoughts handling during meditation practice which is obviously a Buddhist
    approach rather than Taoist approach.
