Application Criteria
The
application
criteria
for
the
Regional
Dream
Team
(RDT)
describes
the
process
that
is
used
to
select
archers
for
membership.
RDT
is
composed
of
30
archers
per
region.
To
become
a
candidate-for-consideration,
you
must:
1. Be
a
minimum
of
12,
maximum
of
18
years
of
age
at
time
of
application
and
a
current
member
of
USA
Archery.
NOTE:
Archers
14
and
younger
(unaccompanied
minor
as
defined
by
airlines)
require
a
parent
or
designated
representative
approved
by
RDT
staff
to
attend
camp.
2. Be
open
to
learning
and
using
the
National
Training
System
(NTS).
3. Fill
out
the
RDT
Application
form.
4. Read
the
RDT
Determination
and
Commitment
Memo
and
sign
(archer
and
his
or
her
parent
or
legal
guardian).
5. Submit
a
positive
letter
of
recommendation
from
Personal
Coach.
6. Thoughtfully
complete
Reason
for
Applying
to
RDT
(on
application)
7. Coachs
Evaluation
8. After
attending
one
camp,
archers
who
wish
to
continue
to
be
part
of
RDT
will
be
expected
to
score
well
according
to
the
following
criteria:
Teamwork
1-5 points
Progress at Camp
1-5 points
Motivation
1-5 points
Work Ethic
1-10 points
1-10 points
Potential
1-10 points
1-5 points
(Maximum of 50 points)
