If You are Abused

If you are being abused by your
partner, you may feel confused, afraid,
angry and/ or trapped. Your partner
might try to blame you or you might
feel what is happening is your fault. All
of these emotions are normal
responses to abuse. But no matter
what others might say, you are never
responsible for your partners abusive
actions.
No one deserves to be battered.

Its not your

fault.

Operation Safe Haven

Domestic violence is treated as a

gendered crime and is rooted in
patriarchy. The highest reported cases are
by men as the aggressor against women
as the victim. However, Project Safe
Haven also recognizes that sexual assault
does occur against all genders and across
all sexual orientations. We strive to end
the oppression of all people as well as
value and celebrates the diversity of our
community. Project Safe Haven also
strives to conserve the rights and
integrity of everyone.

Mission Statement
Operation Safe Haven, with community
support , provides emergency Crisis shelter,
intervention and outreach services to
specialize in LGBTQ+ domestic violence
victims and their families in need. Safe
Haven offers empowerment to victims to
build healthier familial relationships.
