since this class was half special education students, one or two students were off task.

Explain:_This school is applying a new technique for student-learning which consist of dividing
the class into four groups/stations. These stations are a different teaching strategy (Teacher-Time,
Manipulatives, Games, & Applications).

Explain: _At the beginning of the class, students are given the warm-up on the overhead
projector and then one of the stations is about using manipulatives.

Explain: _Students get to listen and participate during the warm-up. While they are in groups
they have to work on worksheets given to them and some of the assignments require discussion
among the group.

Explain: _Since half of the students were special educations students, there was a psychologist

and a special education teacher to keep the students on task and monitor their behavior.

OVERALL COMMENTS AND REFLECTIONS:


The classroom was 6th grade math class and there were several students was only special
education and those students was pull out from sped department by sped teacher. Teacher was
lecturing with using IPad and this help to teacher to manage class and walk around in class to
help to students whenever students need to help. The classroom atmosphere based on the
students center and this make students motivate on task and when some of the students off on
the task and misbehavior teacher was asking questions or giving verbal warning to get back them
on the task. She was asking open-ended question to motivate students on the objective and also
she pass out class assignment. The strategies of the asking question to students get them
participate was very great method to keep students on the task that most of the students were on
the task. Only couple of the students were not get focus on the task they warned by teacher
couple times and some of the back on the task some of the still off on the task. According the my
observation most of the students was done with their class assignment and who did not finished
assignment they get help from by teacher that teacher usually walking in class to help to students
who lost on the task. This is another great strategies to help students who need help on the task.
