It is my pleasure to write this recommendation for Andrea Claire. Andrea spent a
semester in my classroom completing her graduate internship for St. Bonaventure
University.
Andrea did an excellent job in a very challenging classroom. This self-contained
5th/6th/7th/8th/9th grade life skills classroom is made up of students with various disabilities
including intellectual disabilities, other health impairments and Autism. She effectively
planned and implemented lessons and units that met the needs of all students in the
classroom.
Andreas positive attitude and knowledge of content area was truly an asset to the entire
school community. Her caring demeanor and creative approach created an environment
which was beneficial and therapeutic to the many disabilities in our room.
Andrea went above and beyond the requirements of her internship. She challenged and
enriched learning activities for less disabled students, and implemented techniques to
differentiate instruction for the more severe.
It was a wonderful experience having Andrea in our classroom. Please contact me if you
