1 504 Plan Student (Hearing)- Student will be provided with special seating arrangement at
front of the classroom and all videos shown will contain subtitles.
2 GSSP Students- Must complete a comic strip for all five Point of views on the assessment,
instead of four like the rest of the class.
Step by Step Plan add strategies for differentiation as you list the plan and materials
needed for delivery
Step One: Students will watch a short video about Point of view by Flocabulary, while
watching the video students must follow along and complete a fill in the blank worksheet
that goes with the Flocabulary Video.
Step Two: The teacher will review Point of View with the students through power point, while
asking questions like, What is point of view?, What are the three main types of Point of
View? and etc., to see what they learned from the Flocabulary video and what needs
remediation.
Step Three: After the students have reviewed Point of view with the teacher, Students then
will complete some example problems with the teacher, making sure to identify which point
of view is within the sentence and provide examples from the sentence as to why it is that
point of view. Students will receive a piece of candy for participation and answering
questions correctly.
Step Four: After completion of example problems, each student will be given a worksheet
where they must demonstrate their knowledge/skills of point of view. Students will be
asked to create 4 different comic strips containing dialogue and narration. Each comic strip
should be narrated using one of the following perspectives: first-person, second-person,
third-person objective, third-person limited, and third-person omniscient. They must choose
a different perspective for each comic strip to show competency was achieved.

Step 5 - Reflection
After teaching this lesson answer the following questions to help you reflect on your plan.
What went well in the lesson? What did my students learn? How do I know they learned?
What will I do differently when I teach this lesson again?
What resources did you use to create this lesson? Please give credit to those individuals,
texts, articles, etc where you borrowed material.
