Cricket and Isopod (Pill Bug) Articles
Cricket and Pill bug question cutouts and worksheet
Computer (For timer)

each student. We will read through
them both together under document
camera. I will also be asking
questions as I read.

Go on scavenger hunt for cricket


and pill bug questions. After they

For this activity, students will be


completing a scavenger hunt. The
students will have a few minutes to
gather up 3 pill bugs and 3 crickets.
Each insect will have a question and
number on it. (So the students will
be answering 6 questions all
together) After the students have
collected 3 pill bugs and 3 crickets,
they will go to their seat and start
answering the questions on the
designated worksheet. Students will
have 10 minutes to find the
insects/questions as well as answer
them. After 10 minutes is up, I will
see where students are and if they
need 2 extra minutes. We will then
go over the answers to the questions
together.
