Q: Why my PC or Laptop cannot search wireless (WiFi) signals?

A: Check the following:

Whether your PC or Laptop (any computing device) is equipped with WiFi
reception capability or not. Majority of the old PCs do not have built-in WiFi
capability and require an external (USB) WiFi dongle for making it compatible.
Whether the wireless network card of the PC/ Laptop is enabled or not.
Whether the wireless port of the router is activated. If not, then press the WLAN
button once given at the front panel.
If your PC/ Laptop is too far away from the modem/ router, bring them closer
and scan again.
When using the router, keep away from wireless interference source, such as
a wireless phone or a microwave oven, to avoid impact of frequency
interference. Obstacles, such as enclosed space, metal obstacles, and
concrete walls, obviously reduce the coverage range of the device.
