Why Cline Dion Should be President

Someone once said, Those who have true power share it, while those who hunger power
abuse it. It is for this reason that it is impossible to elect a good president in the current system,
as anyone who runs for president must have a hunger for power in order to win the election.
America must abandon this corrupt system, and instead of choosing a corrupt president from a
pool of corrupt candidates, choose the person who is most fit to lead the country, regardless of
political situation. Of course, there is only one person who this could be: 1990s superstar Cline
Dion.
The greatest reason why Cline Dion would make a fantastic president is because of her
insane foreign policy skills. Dion has huge amounts of admirers from all over the world, and this
can be seen by the fact that she has received over 300 awards from many different places,
including the USA, the UK, Canada, France, Hungary, Hong Kong, Japan, Malta, South Africa,
and even won several World Music Awards. Through all these accolades, the world has already
shown that it loves Dion, which means that governments of many foreign countries will be open
to the things she has to say. She also has sung songs in multiple languages, including English,
French, Spanish, German, and Japanese, which gives her further means of connecting to and
relating to foreign politicians from practically anywhere. Now, some might say that she is too
foreign, and that because of her French-Canadian birth, that she would not represent America
enough to be president; however, this is not the case. We, today, live in a hugely globalized
world, where the mentality of America being us and the rest of the world being them is
incredibly outdated, as is the rule that the president must be born American. Having presidents
only be American-born is an inaccurate representation of the incredibly diverse nation that we
live in, as well as a fantastic way to make America seem like a xenophobic place that is
unwilling to consider foreigners in equal regards to its citizens. Because of this, the fact that

Dion was not born American should be irrelevant to the potential of her being president, and can
even be seen as a boon in her foreign policy ability, especially when dealing with Canada.
Another huge reason why Dion should become the next president of the USA is because
she understands the common person like no politician ever could. Dion grew up in as the
youngest of 14 children in an impoverished home in Qubec, but she was able to make it out of
poverty by following her lifelong dream to be a performer. This is in stark contrast to the
background of most who become president, as the majority of them grow up rich with everything
they want within easy reach. The fact that Dion started lower on the socioeconomic ladder than
most of us means that she understands the day-to-day struggles that many of us face, which
someone who has always been far above us simply cant do. In addition, the fact that she made it
big by following her dreams goes to show that she can relate to those of us who have dreams that
we want to follow, and were she to become president, she would have a good idea of what she
could do to help us follow in her footsteps and realize our own dreams. Dion has climbed from
the bottom to the top of the ladder, and electing her president would give her the means to share
her technique with those who havent been able to climb the ladder.
In addition to the reasons stated above, Dion would also make a good president as a result
of her experience in both the entrepreneurial world and in philanthropy. Dion has been active in
the business world in the past, having founded a restaurant chain, and owning an artist
management company, another restaurant, and a night club. She has also created a perfume
company, which has seen success, raking in over 850 million dollars. These things have given
her a nice insight into the world of business and economics, which is very useful in a presidency.
She has also donated large amounts of money to philanthropic causes, having supported the
Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, World Childrens Day, and many other health and
education related charities. She donated 1 million dollars to victims of Hurricane Katrina, helped

raise more than 1 million dollars for the victims of the 2004 Southeast Asian tsunami, and has
supported victims of many other disasters besides. The fact that she is willing to sacrifice such
large amounts of money to give it to those who need it most shows that she will manage the
finances of America in such a way as to not let down the people who most need the things that
that money can pay for.
Cline Dion is a fantastic person who has the potential to do many fantastic things, and
all we need to do is to enable her by electing her the president of the United States of America.
We need to end the never-ending cycle of constantly electing someone who is despised by half of
the population of the country, and instead of having months upon months in which presidential
candidates have to tear each other apart, just let everyone be at peace with one another by
accepting the fact that Cline Dion is a far better candidate to be president than anyone who is
running for the position. Dion is a master of foreign policy, a relatable figure who can be a
champion of the lower class citizens, and experienced in the world of economics. The number of
politicians who can say the same is unsurprisingly very small. If Cline Dion became the
president of the United States of America, she would make America, and subsequently the world,
a truly fantastic place to live in.
