The following titles represent some of the finest and/or most popular books
Childrens and Young Adult Literature have to offer. You will read each of these
books this semester (along with other titles that will be shared when the course
begins) in order to help you become more familiar with books you will encounter
while working with children and adolescents. You will be required to participate
in discussion boards where you will post an original response as well as reply to
the posts of others for EACH book.
You do not need to purchase the books, however, many are available in
paperback editions and will form a solid base for building, or continuing to
build, your own collection of books for children and young adults. Enjoy!
