Ministry Philosophy
Ministry is a team effort. My desire is to serve with a team of
likeminded individuals who serve one another with open hands.
Ministry should be creative, innovative and empathetic. I want to see
pastors and churches think outside the box, look for new ways to
innovate, create, relate and communicate, all the while keeping a
consistent message.

Personal Summary

I was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 18, 1972.

I did not grow up in a Christian home but one that was very void of any type of faith. It wasnt
until our family moved in 1982 that I met my first Christian friend and was invited to church. I
confessed faith in Christ in 1987.

My wife Melanie and I were high school sweethearts. She has been a schoolteacher since
1998. We were married in 1996 and have 3 children, Alex (February 2001), Zach (December
2002) and Caroline (September 2004).

I was ordained at Lilburn Christian Church in August of 1998.

I am an avid reader and writer. Our family enjoys hiking, travelling and eating together.

2010-Current

Married & Mens Groups Director | Browns Bridge Church | Cumming, GA

As a Married & Mens Groups Director I oversee 100+ small groups a work directly with
hundreds of small group leaders, coaching, advising and pastoring them throughout the year.
1998-2004

Youth Minister | First Christian Church of Roswell | Roswell, GA

My responsibilities at FCCR included birth to high school aged children. During my tenure I
built a leadership team of volunteers and coordinators to lead the overall youth ministry of the
church.

Work Experience
2004-2010

President | Real Property Research of Georgia | Cumming, GA

RPRG served the needs of the development community by creating a new research model and
method that brought a level of clarity and efficiency to an industry where it had not existed
before. I built RPRG from the ground up to fill a need within the development, engineering and
land surveying community. Within 2 years we expanded our services to work in 3 states
(Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina).
