Facilitated learning in a diverse classroom comprised of students representing


17 nationalities, all at varying stages in their English development.
Performed PALS assessments, Words Their Way Spelling Inventories, Fountas
and Pinnell Leveled Reading assessments, etc. to determine a baseline, create
appropriate lessons, differentiate properly, and keep track of progress
throughout the year.
Integrated technology into majority of lessons, for example, a virtual fieldtrip
using Google Maps Street View during social studies.
Held parent-teacher conferences and attended weekly meetings with other
grade-level teachers discussing lesson plans, curriculum development and
testing.
Implemented differentiated instruction by providing appropriate initial
assessments, small group instruction, individual conferences and separate
assignments.
Collaborated on the development of Individualized Education Plans for select

Created student-centered, inquiry based lessons through the implementation of

Works 1:1 with students on communication skills, social skills, behavioral skills,
self-help skills, sensory issues and other individually designed goals.
Provides Behavioral Therapy including: discrete trials, verbal behavior, task
analyses, natural environment principals, and use of prompting hierarchy
Records data to response trials, behavior, and any intervention procedures and
graphs collected data daily.
Develops program materials, including literacy games, phonics manipulatives
