Children of the world, beware!

For
seemingly even the smallest things go
unexcused in the eyes of God. Our mighty,
wrathful God sees all, and once you have done
something immoral, or sinful, you have chosen
to welcome Satan into your life. Once you sin,
you are all but locked out of the gates of
Heaven, doomed to spend the rest of your
immortal life burning in the flames of Hell. The
only thing that can keep you from a doomed
existence with Satan is by the pure mercy of our
God. You must follow Gods will more readily
than you follow orders from your parents, for God have authority even over them. It is all too easy to give in to Satans clutches, and
even the most unsuspecting child can fall victim to his ways.

It was a dark and stormy Sabbath

afternoon. All of the good Massachusetts Bay
children were silently walking into the chapel
besides their families, and preparing for that
days service. However, there were two little
children missing from this particular service.
Sorry-for-sin, a small boy of six, and Jezebel,
his eight-year-old best friend, were too
occupied with their game of street wicket to
realize everyone had gone to chapel. Now,
Sorry-for-sin was a forgetful boy, and rarely paid attention, but Jezebel knew better. Jezebel was a sinful little girl who detested
attending church, so when she noticed the other children leaving, she purposely ignored them and kept playing. When the dark clouds
started to release their heavy rain, Sorry-for-sin paused their wicket game, and realized, with a start, what day it was, and where
everyone had gone. Jezebel, he cried, We are late for chapel! We must hurry, or we shall surely be punished!. The sin-filled girl
however, was unconcerned with their absence. She began to persuade the impressionable young boy to skip the service altogether.
Sorry-for-sin quickly gave in to Jezebels temptations, and the two quickly ran for shelter elsewhere.

Meanwhile, the childrens parents were

sitting in the chapel, nervously awaiting their
children. Church was starting soon, and if
Sorry-for-sin and Jezebel didnt hasten, they
would surely be late and be branded as sinners.
Time passed, and it became all too clear that the
children were not going to attend. Other
families began noticing that Sorry-for-sin and
Jezebel were missing, and rumors started to fly
concerning their location. When church finally
let out, the families scoured the colony for the
two sinners, ready to punish them. The two were found, safe under a house canopy, still playing their sinful game of wicket. Their
mothers lamented their childrens cemented path to hell, and their fathers shouted the words of God at the two outlaws, hoping they
could still repent. Jezebels mother had taught her to remove the sins in her life as easily as she removed stains in clothes. Alas, their
efforts were all in vain, for the two infidels were already damned to hell for their offenses.

Children, you must learn from Sorryfor-sin. While he gave in to the temptations in
his life, you must be strong enough to cast out
wickedness. Remember Jezebels mother, and
if there is sin in your life, you must rid yourself
of it as easily as you rid the dirt that stains your
clothes. You are the fruit on Gods tall tree, and
only by Gods grace and mercy can you be kept
from falling into the unforgiving flames of hell
that wait below. Remember this, and go forth
into the world free from sin.
