21st Century Learning:
teacher will describe the shape using vocabulary words (side, face,
vertex, round, straight). The teacher will either make a shape out of
toothpicks and marshmallows, geometry tools or draw the shape
on a piece of paper.
The teacher will ask students to either name a shape or pick of the
requested shape.
Some students will draw and make shapes. Some students will
only make shapes. Some students will use shape tiles to make
animals.
