Mateo Puts Circular Book

As part of the activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the APEC
University (UNAPEC) was put into circulation the book "Pedro Henriquez
Urena: wandering and creation", the writer and intellectual Andrs L.
Mateo.
The presentation was held in the Hall of Culture APEC Jos Mara Bonetti
Burgos, headed by the Minister of Culture, Jose Antonio Rodriguez and the
president of the board of UNAPEC, Opinio Betancourt Alvarez.
Also they are participating academic vice rector, Francisco D 'Oleo, among
other authorities of that house of higher learning, family and friends of the
author of the new publication.
The book "Pedro Henriquez Urena: wanderings and creation" addresses the
creative cycle of this great Dominican humanist, and to appreciate in its
different stages encyclopedic growth and formation of one of the most
fertile writers of the American continent. According to its author, recreates
stays in New York, Havana, Mexico, Minnesota, La Plata and Buenos Aires
in Argentina, Pedro Henriquez Urena he lived and "the inescapable
influence his thinking occurred in shaping the specificity of the idea of what
the Hispanic culture. "
