SEASON 1 | EPISODE 2
"BERZERK"
PROLOGUE:
GOTHAM MIDTOWN RESTAURANT - NIGHT:
We see a big dinner in Gotham, the place is packed.
A police officer enters through the door, wanting a quick
snack.
He goes over to the counter, and sits. Putting his hat next
to him in the table.
The waitress, MARY goes over to take his order.
MARY
Hello, officer. What do you want for
today? The usual?
OFFICER
Yep. What's all the noise about
Fourth Avenue?
MARY
Fourth Avenue? Oh yeah, don't you

know? Well, considering you're a cop.

OFFICER
Well, us cops aren't wikipedias.
MARY
(Giggling) Yeah, about Fourth Avenue.
The whole thing is messed up.
OFFICER
What happened?
MARY
Some guy went crazy, killed his
family, and then went on the road,
and slashed every poor sool in the
block. Blood bath.
OFFICER
Jesus christ.
MARY
Y' know, they say he was under the
influence. I personally believe that
any drug wouldn't make a guy go THAT
far.
OFFICER
It's being investigated, i am sure of
it. There are two sides of the GCPD.
I'm on the side that saves cats from
trees.
The waitress laughs, and then pours him some caffee.
OFFICER (CONT'D)
A big mac, more cheese.
MARY
You got it, officer.
Then she leaves for a bit, and the officer starts drinking
his coffe- thenA man comes by, looking nervous and scared and taps him on
the shoulder, the cop looks at him.
MAN
Please, officer, that man's got

insane.
Then he looks over at the other side of the restaurant, in
the last booth, a man with no shirt, and veins all around
his chest, and he looks around with his red eye and black
pupils, foam coming out from his mouth.
The police officer gets his gun, and slowly walks over to
the deranged man.
OFFICER
PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK!
Right now!
Then, the derange man, throws the gun away, and throws the
officer down, breaking the table, and killing him. Then his
arms fall off, with blood and guts everywhere and he falls
down on the floor, and smiles.
Then, LAUGHS....

INTERROGATION ROOM - AFTER THE EXPLOSION:

We see Batman, turn around, wondering as the explosion
happens, and this loud, huge BANG! Was heard.
BATMAN
What the-?
JOKER
Wondering, Bats?
Then, Batman walks over to Joker, and slams his head to the
table, and then catches him by his hair, and talks.
BATMAN
You psychotic son of a bitch.
Then Batman turns to the glass in the room, talking to the
other side.
BATMAN (CONT'D)
Jim, sent some of your men to keep
him in check. Arkham is being
compromised.

Then, no response through the microphone, Batman asks.

BATMAN (CONT'D)
Jim?
Then, the window BREAKS revealing that Jim Gordon and the
others are down on the floor, possibly dead or not.
Batman is shocked by that and that some henchmen with
muscles and weapons stand over the bodies, the henchmen wear
Joker masks.
BATMAN (CONT'D)
Jim, no!JOKER
Aren't you glad?
Then, Batman kicks Joker to the wall, and the henchmen run
to Batman, jumping through the glass, they hold him, by his
feet, his head and arms. He's trapped.
Then, he uses his head to attack the man holding him from
behind, and he releases Batman, then Batman punches the two
that are holding his arms, and kicks one of them in the
nose, breaking it and blood travelling through the air.
Then, the men holding his leg surrender and kneel down.
Then, the Joker jumps on one of them, and takes the gun that
is in the belt of the person.
He points to Batman.
JOKER (CONT'D)
Hahhahahah!
BATMAN
What are you gonna do to Arkham?
JOKER
A little chaos to spice things up a
bit. There are more where that little
bang came from.
Then, the Joker shoots the two men in front of him, in cold
blood, then Batman JUMPS over him, and attacks him. Putting
him to the wall.

BATMAN
You're coming with me.
ARKHAM FLOOR - HALLWAY:
We see the door broken down, and Batman coming out of it,
and the Joker in front of him, with handcuffs and Batman
holding him hostage, and taking him.
BATMAN (CONT'D)
They've all escaped.
JOKER
Waken up in a bad mood, Bats.
BATMAN
Shut the hell up.
JOKER
Y'know, a joke can bring such joy to
the table. Make them drop tears of
happiness, but when the joke is BAD,
then people will get angry...and
violent.
BATMAN
I said SHUT UP!
JOKER
Maybe the cold hearted people never
got the joke, but i am sure you got
it, Bats.
Then, Batman notices the big door at the end of the hallway,
and opens it. We see the Arkham main floor. With the place
looking post-apocalyptic.
JOKER (CONT'D)
See? All in good fun.
Then, Batman throws the Joker down, after he PUNCHES him.
Then, the monitor from his arm-pad comes on and it's ORACLE.
ORACLE
Batman? What happened?
BATMAN
The scumbag activated the first bomb.
Main floor is a garbage ridden

utopia.
ORACLE
Jesus. What-What-How's my father?
BATMAN
He's been beaten by some of Joker's
men- i stopped them, Jim is safe.
ORACLE
Thank god.
BATMAN
Contact Robin, make sure he is ready.
Also, leave a message to the GCPD, to
take back Arkham.
ORACLE
Will do. Be careful, Batman.
Then Batman shuts off the monitor.
JOKER
Hit me pretty badly, Bats.
BATMAN
You deserve every bit of pain.
Then, Batman takes the Joker and jumps straight into the
main floor, and LANDS.
He sees from the corners, that crazy and loose inmates are
lurking in the background.
Then, Batman throws a grenade, which explodes and blows the
inmates away.
JOKER
Are we feeling a little violent,
Batsy? HHAHA!
BATMAN
Where did you hide the bombs.
JOKER
Oh, come on, Bats. Don't ruin the fun
before it begins.
Then, Batman punches Joker, his head feeling dizzy.

BATMAN
Where are they?
JOKER
Their purpose is hidden, Batman.
BATMAN
WHERE ARE THEY?!
JOKER
Fine. Let me guide you. I am worried
you might get lost on the way.
DARK ROOM- ARKHAM - LATER:
We see a dark room and then The Joker attacks Batman with a
stool he finds, then Batman falls down.
Joker keeps KICKING him, then Batman faints.
DARK ROOM - ARKHAM - AFTER:
We get back at Batman and the Joker, Batman is tied into a
chair.
And the Joker is setting up a projector.
BATMAN
What the hell?
JOKER
Welcome, Batman! Want to see my show?
I can deal with all criticism,
really. But the mean ones are just
plain mean. Hope you're not mean,
Bats.
BATMAN
What the hell do you think you're
doing?
JOKER
Remember your sidekick. I mean, your
previous sidekick.
BATMAN
BASTARD!!
JOKER

Remember how DEAD he was after you

saw his dead body.
Then, Joker takes a stool and sits next to Batman.
JOKER (CONT'D)
Let's watch it together, shall we?
Harley, sweetie, start the movie.
Then, HARLEY QUINN, steps out of the shadows, and with
switches the projector on.
BATMAN
What the hell are you gonna show me?
BATMAN (CONT'D)
I'm sure you'll like it.
Then, the projector starts and the tape starts with Jason
Todd, the former Robin, being on the floor, his hands and
feet tied and lying in the floor of an abandoned warehouse.
Then in the tape, The Joker comes into the scene, holding
the crowbar.
He HITS him in his belly, Jason screams in pain.
JOKER
Getting started, huh?
BATMAN
(Present Time)
No! No! Don't, don't.
JOKER
Oh, but we are getting to the best
part.
JASON (TAPE)
Please, oh my god, please.
JOKER (TAPE)
Oh, you're being such a whiny little
crybaby. One question before we
start, who do you hate? Really hate?
JASON
Bat- Ba-

JOKER
Come on, open your mouth, boy.
JASON
(Angry)
Bat...man.
JOKER
FANTASTIC!
Then, Joker (in the tape) turns to Batman, who's watching
the tape, and SCREAMS and LAUGHS!
JOKER (TAPE)
See that, Bats? He's mine..MINE,
MINE!
Then, he turns to Jason.
JOKER (TAPE) (CONT'D)
Look, Jason. What do you want to say
to the big bad Bat?
JASON
You left me. To die. I will never
forgive you. NEVER! Remember this day
asThen, Joker SHOOTS Jason in the head, blood FILLING up the
wall, behind him.
Then Joker shuts the camera.
The tape goes off, and Batman looks down, lost and sad.
JOKER
What's the matter, Bats? Did the film
resonate with you?
Then, Joker tapes the tape out, and throws it at Batman's
face, like a man throwing a dog a small bone.
JOKER (CONT'D)
Come on, let pasts be pasts. Right?
Then, Batman, cuts the ropes off the chair, and attacks
Joker and throws him to the floor and then Harley attacks
him with a bat, and he falls on the floor, too. Then, he
stands up and knees Harley, and then PUNCH the Joker,

REPEATEADLY.
Then, the Joker speaks, with blood all over his face.
JOKER (CONT'D)
Come on, don't let the job
unfinished.
Then, Batman stands up and looks over at Joker.
BATMAN
One day...one day. I will put my hand
over your throat and hold. Till' you
put your last breath. Nothing would
make me happier.
JOKER
Good to hear.
Then, Batman calls Oracle. Then, the monitor shows up, and
it's ORACLE.
BATMAN
Oracle, inform the Gotham Police, i
got the Joker. Arkham is compromised.
Send a message to the police, to take
the Joker in.
Then, Batman leaves the room, and uses the grappling hook to
leave through the roof.
END.
