FULL DESCRIPCION OF TRAINING CONTENT

Structured Study Visit to Schools/Institutes & Training Seminar can be held during the academic year in from
October to May, every academic year. The study visit will provide opportunities for teachers and other staff from
throughout Europe to have a choice of visiting primary, secondary, vocational and adult lifelong learning schools with
specific organisational concepts to promote high quality in teaching and learning; meeting and interacting with
teachers, head teachers, experts and advisors; experience a powerful and unique school culture, observe innovative
and collaborative learning, network, form eTwinning groups and discuss possible Key Action 2 projects. The study
visit should also provide opportunities to work with professors and experts from a number of Universities in Europe.
Structured Study Visit to Schools/Institutes & Training Seminar should implement a number of key activities:
1. School visits: Observing lessons / Intervening in lessons; sharing information with staff and students about school,
town, country, etc.; making connections, considering Key Action 2 projects, etc.
2. Seminars, workshops and lectures: Professional development and cultural seminars, workshops and lectures will
explore specific aspects of culture and/or English Studies in an enjoyable environment, within a wide range of areas
of study such as history, geography, archaeology, literature, film, music, dance, education, society, etc.
3. Cultural exchanges and professional presentations: The study visit should give time and opportunity for delegates
to discuss a wide range of issues ranging from locality, schools, education systems, and pupils/students. Also they
will have opportunities to deliver presentations on a variety of educational themes such as their education system,
their institution, their town, their country, their ideas about future Erasmus+ projects, eTwinning and KA2
opportunities, etc.
4. Cultural Day Visits: A variety of excursions to significant geographical and historical landmarks will enhance
participants' experience.
