    The forgotten veterans

    1 of 32 Congolese FP soldiers in Belgium 3 of them were on the Yser front in Belgium


    The most famous was Paul Panda Farnana who ended as a POW.
    After the liberation he became one of the first militants of the Pan Africanism movement
    and would denounce the Belgian colonial policy.
