I appreciate your need for assistance. But I feel we have given you as much help as possible
without getting involved with a conflict of interest. My office is the Legislative branch that
makes law. Congressional offices cannot intervene in matters under jurisdiction of the Judicial
branch.
You continue to ask for the appointment of a Special Counsel. The office of the U.S. Office of
Special Counsel's primary missi9n is to "safeguard the merit system by protecting federal
employees and applicants from prohibited personnel practices, especially reprisal for whistle
blowing." Unfortunately, your situation does not fit under this definition. Your situation is a
legal issue.
I understand that attorneys are expensive. But there are some Pro Bono lawyers that may be able
to give you some direction in getting this accomplished. They are:
