PENAL CODES
Traffic Violations: Chapter 500:
SAPC-501: Operating a Motor Vehicle without valid insurance
is a misdemeanor offense it's up to the officer
who initiated the traffic stop to choose either arrest or
release on a citation.
SAPC-502: Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of
illegal narcotics, alcoholic beverages, prescription medication,
or some over the counter medications is an arrestable misdemeanor
offense. The person being stopped for DUI must take a Field sobriety
test and if they fail must be taken to a local detention center until they sober
up.
SAPC-503: Operating a Motor Vehicle that is unroadworthy is a ticket able offense.
The officer conducting the traffic stop must use sound judgement to decide whether
or not to have the vehicle impounded or towed to the closest mechanic for repairs.
Officers may also choose to escort the vehicle to a mechanic instead of having it towed.
SAPC-504: Operating a Motor Vehicle without a Valid State License Plate.
All Vehicle on a State, County, or Federal Roadway must have valid
State License Plates The Plates must be Displayed on Both the Front and Rear of the
Vehicle. The only exception to this is Emergency Response Vehicles.

Emergency Response Vehicles Include all Fire Department , Police, Sheriff, and
Trooper Vehicles, and All Ambulances Operated by a Government Supervised Agency.

SAPC-505: Wreckless Driving is the operating of a Motor Vehicle by a Person with the
intent to damage or harm private or public property by using a vehicle in a manner that
could cause harm to the motoring public and pedestrians alike.
SAPC-506: Failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. An emergency vehicle includes fire
engines, ambulances, and law enforcement vehicles.
SAPC-507: All Citizens Operating a Motorcycle must wear Protective eyewear, Jackets,
and Boots. Anyone found in violation of this law will be cited for the violation.
SAPC-508: Driving on a suspended License is a misdemeanor offense but the person
found in violation of this law will be arrested and taken to a local detention center for
processing.
SAPC-509: Failure to maintain lane- is when a motor vehicle operator is either swerving
and barely crossing the yellow centerline or by swerving in and out of traffic multiple
times. This is a misdemeanor offense and is a ticketable offense.
SAPC-510: All Motor Vehicle Operators are required to maintain a minimum following
distance of 30 feet from the rear end of the vehicle in front of them. Any driver found in
violation of this will be cited for following too close.
SAPC-511: Failure to yield right of way to a Funeral Procession is a ticketable offense.
Drivers are guilty of this if they do not stop for funeral processions passing them in the
opposite lane of traffic or at redlights.
SAPC-500-General:
All person in violation of the Chapter 500 Penal Codes shall be Guilty of a
misdemeanor crime and shall be charged no more than 200 dollars in fines,
and/or Jail time for no more than 5 months.

Criminal Violations:
SAPC-211: Armed Robbery is a felony level crime. All suspects who accused of armed
robbery are to be considered armed and dangerous. In officer who has a visual on
suspected armed robbers must not approach the suspects until they have at least

4 back up units and 1 supervisor unit on scene.

SAPC-403 Assault and Battery:


SAPC-403A: Simple Battery is the act of pushing, shoving spitting on, or knocking down
another person during a dispute of fight. All persons suspected of simple party shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor offense and may be arrested or fined up to 3 months jail time or
400 dollars in fines.
SAPC-403B: Assault is the act of Punching, Scratching, Clawing, Pinching, Biting, or
otherwise injuring another person with the intent on doing miron physical harm to that
person. Anyone found in violation of this crime will be guilty of a misdemeanor crime
shall be punished by no more than 6 months in jail and/or 800 dollar fine plus damages
and restitution.
SAPC-403C: Aggravated Assault is the act of punching, scratching, clawing, pinching,
biting or otherwise injuring another person with the intent to cause sever yet non life
threatening harm to that person. Anyon found in violation of this law will be guilty of a
felony and can face up to 10 years in prison, and/or up to a 5,000 dollar fine.

SAPC-415A: Fighting/Disturbances is the act of disturbing the peace in a localized area


either by physically fighting, or arguing, any person found in violation of this Code is
guilty of a misdemeanor or a felony dependant of which code in SAPC-403 is applied to
the situation. If no code from SAPC-403 is applied the person shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor no more than a 3 month jail sentence and no more than a 500 dollar fine
shall apply.

SAPC-415B: Domestic Violence/ Dispute is the act of any two or more person(s) living
in the same dwelling engaged in a verbal or physical disagreement. In the case of a
Domestic Dispute the agitating party is given the choice to either leave the dwelling and
go elsewhere for a 24 hour period or be charged with a Misdemeanor and arrested. If
the dwelling is an apartment complex the complex owner or designated trustee may
have the officers on scene escort both parties involved off the property for a 24 hour
period.

SAPC-416: Failure to identify is when a person fail to provide proof of identification to


any law enforcement officer. This will result in an arrest and hold at the jail until the
persons identification is provided or attained by the officers at the detention center.
SAPC-417: Failure to comply with a lawful order. Means a civilian as not complied with
a lawful order from a law enforcement officer. For a order to be lawful it must be prove
to keep the public safe from harm or to keep the integrity of a crime scene from being
contaminated.
SAPC-418: Obstruction of a law enforcement officer. All civilians can be charged with
obstruction if the civilian attempts to prevent any law enforcement officer from
performing thier duties.

SAPC-100 Hunting, Fishing, and Firearm Laws


Chapter 100 Definitions:
Firearm: a weapon that uses a percussion cap in a casing to ignite gunpowder to send
a projectile down a cylindrical tube known as a barrel and into a target at various
ranges.
Hunting: the art of stalking wildlife in the attempt to kill for food. All animal hunted must
be killed with the appropriate firearm(s).
Fishing: Is the Act of Catching and/or releasing fish from public and private water
sources. Water sources that are public are Lakes, Rivers, or the Ocean, Private water
sources are Ponds and reservoirs. All fishermen must have the appropriate licenses to
fish weather from public or private resources. Public resources are open to anyone
holding the proper fishing license. Private resources are only open to persons who have
been granted rights by the private property owner(s) and have the appropriate fishing
licenses.

Chapter 100 Laws


SAPC-101: All Citizens that are permanent residents of the State of San andreas have
the right to open carry a loaded firearm on public and Private property. The only
exception is Government Buildings including Shools, Churches, Funeral Homes, and
any Private Property that States Firearms are Prohibited.

SAPC-102: All citizens who have a Firearms Permit may carry a concealed firearm on
all Properties public and or Private except for those listed in SAPC-101.

SAPC-103: All Law Enforcement Officers are exempt from SAPC-101 and SAPC-102.
All Law Enforcement Officers must carry a firearm in the performance of their duties
whether they are on duty or off duty. All officer performing their duties regardless of
being on or off the clock must carry their department issued firearm and identify
themselves by their appropriate title IE: State Trooper, Wildlife Trooper, Police Officer, or
Deputy Sheriff.
SAPC-104: Hunting is legal for the following animals: Deer/Elk, Cougar, Rabbit, Wild
Boar, and Pheasant. Deer or Elk bag limit is 1 buck and 1 female, cougar bag limit is 1
regaurdless of gender, Rabbit Bag Limit 4, Wildboar bag limit is as many as you can fit
into your vehicle, Pheasant bag limit is 3.

SAPC-105: Fishing is legal for the following aquatic wildlife: Grouper, Flounder, Shark,
and Snapper. All other aquatic wildlife is protected under federal fish and wildlife laws.
All Fishermen must have the appropriate Fishing License(s).
IRPC Peace Officers Standards and Training Council:
All law enforcement officers are required by law to maintain active certification to remain
certified by the State of San Andreas. Maintaining active certification means all officer
regardless of department must participate in 1 training session a month as either a
trainer or trainee.
All Law Enforcement Officers who are new to the Departments and have finished
thier Departments Basic Law Enforcement Training Course must be assigned a Field
Training Officer to ride along with during their first two Roleplays following thier training.
The first roleplay with the FTO the newly trained officer will ride as a passenger in the
unit observing and following orders given by the FTO. the second roleplay the newly
trained officer will be driving the FTOs unit and the FTO will be observing and making
note of any areas needing correction and acting as back up to the newly trained officer.
Upon succesfully completeing both BLET and FTO the newly trained
officer will be assigned a unit number by their Departments Chief and allowed to
Patrol on their own during all roleplays.
