WEALTH INEQUALITY

https://youtu.be/-LhqlWv9K4Q

Milton Freidman
Famous Economist
Developed Trickle Down Economics
This is where if we cut taxes on business it will in stimulate the
economy and helper lower income.
A society that puts equality before freedom will get neither. A society
that puts freedom before equality will get a high degree of both.

Reaganomics
Trickle Down economics was implemented in the time of the Reagan
Administration.
Many blame the deregulation of business and banks the reasons for
the recession and the wealth gap.
Additionally, Conservatives will say this is what stimulated the
economy in the 90s and helped with the DotCom Era.

Observations
The wealth gap is sad.
I say it is because of too much regulation.
Businesss can not afford to hire more workers do to constraits and also
strict regulation.
Trade laws need to be reformed.
Encourage more tax cuts and tax freedom and that will help the middle
and lower classes gain economic prosperity.
To end with a quote from Milton Friedman the government is the only
person he knows that can take perfectly good ink, perfectly good paper,
combine them and make them worthless.

How Bad Is The Wealth Gap?

The top 1% own 40% of American wealth
CEOs make 380 times more than the average worker
An average worker has to work a full month to make what a CEO
makes in one hour
Ethical Question:
Does a CEO really work 380 times harder than an average person?

Minimizing The Wealth Gap

1. Socialism isnt the answer
2. Create a new tax bracket for the super wealthy
3. Put an end to the loopholes that rich people use to avoid paying
taxes
4. -

Increase the minimum wage

5. Invest in the education of poor neighborhoods

Bernie Sanders POV

The middle class of this country, over the last 40 years, has been
disappearing.
A society in which so many have so little, while so few have so much,
is not what the U.S.A is suppose to be about.
Greatest unacceptable issue of our time that needs to change.

Addresses to the billionaire class, you can't have it all.

Wants equity for all.

Donald Trumps POV

The middle class is the one, theyre getting absolutely destroyed.
Taxes too high, wages too high hate to say it, but we have to leave
it the way it is. People need to get up on that upper stratham.
Wants to help the middle class, but people need to work harder.
Wants to eliminate tax loopholes for the rich.

Bernie Sanders Plan

1.Increase minimum wage to 15/hr
a. Have equal pay

2.Start a trillion dollar job program to put Americans back to work (13
mil. jobs)

3.Fair tax system

a. Tax on Wall st. speculation to result in free tuition.

Donald Trump's Plan

1.Leave minimum wage as is
a. Potentially doing something for better jobs, NOT higher paying jobs.

2.Tax cut plan

a. Reduce tax code to four brackets ( 0%, 10%, 20%, 25%)
b. No income tax on single person earning 25k, or jointly married earning of 50k.
c. Top businesses to small businesses pay only 15 % business income.

Our Plan
Cut wasteful government spending-wasteful military spending
Create new tax bracket- 0% income tax for 25k single & married 50k
Invest in education cut tuition cost, add more universities
