Is There

Really Alien
Genius Hour Project:
Avalon M.

The thought of the existence of other-worldly creatures is prodigious, even if there are an infinite
amount of tales telling the story of alien invasions, or suspicious scenes, it is still hard to believe the
superstition without HARDCORE evidence that it is true. Well, if you came to hear the truth about this
strange superstition, this project might just be for you...

Alien Traces
If you were to search up the key word alien,
billions and billions of search results would pop
up, most of them being Alien Non-Fictional
Stories or Real traces of aliens found in Africa
(or some other place). But the real question is, is
this really evidence and is this really true? Well,
alien traces are found everywhere, and are
overwhelming to the human eye, but the question
that really stirs up is the wondering of if this is
true. Alien traces are the closest that we can get
to evidence, alien fossils, alien substances, and
any alien like plants or animals. Another common
piece of evidence is the sighting of an alien UFO,
or an alien abduction.

For many years, scientists have been searching for evidence of aliens beyond our earth, specifically an
alien planet. We know of many planets in our solar system, but we doubt that any of them are suitable for
alien life, so Nasas scientists decided to take it a little farther. On March 7, 2009, a space camera named
Kepler was launched in hope to discover alien planets in the Milky Way situated in what we know as the
Habitable Zone. According to recent discoveries in 2011, an extrasolar planet orbiting a G-type star
circling Kepler 22. It is located about 600 light years from earth and is in the constellation of Cygnus. Its is
believed that this planet is the key to finding alien life.

Kepler 22b is a planet that is in a life-filled zone we know as the Goldilocks Zone. Earth thrives in this
zone, and so does Kepler 22b. The Goldilocks Zone is a zone in which a planet is not too close or
not too far from their star, providing a thriving atmosphere for life. Kepler 22b is one of the only
planets with an atmosphere found in the Goldilocks Zone, so our hopes and expectations for it are
high. But Kepler 22b is not the only possibly inhabited planet, for there is Kepler-452B, Kepler-186F,
Kepler-62E, and Kepler-438B. So, as you can see, Kepler-22B is not alone ;) .

Alien Proof
Over the course of one month after the space camera Kepler had been launched, it had discovered over
100 planets with possible life. This shows that there is a 99 percent chance that there definitely is alien
life. Why do we question this? Well, the constant question of if we are alone continues because of small
everyday miracles and strange unsolved mysteries. But are aliens behind it? Have they had any
interactions with us, and would people be willing to swear their life on it?

Alien History
Aliens have come to us in many forms, at many times. For example, in 1939 a 15 thousand year old
French cave painting was found with markings of UFO and ETs. This had occurred in a greek stone
tablet, also. But we dont have to make the painting for the aliens, they make them for us. For example, a
crop circle. Crop circles have been around forever, and many myths and tales may involve them. The
oldest recorded crop circle is the 1648 Mowing Devil which occurred right after World War II. Alien
history had had a major impact on us, and I believe we should embrace it.

Crop Circles
Crop circles are symbolic outcroppings that are made during the nighttime usually pressed into crops such
as wheat, barley, and oil-rape. These happenings are mysterious and nobody has ever been seen making a
crop circle (aside from a prank). These symbols sometimes refer to hyroglifics or symbols for peace, war,
etc. This is the closest (we think) that weve gotten to a possibly alien-made object, and it amazes us how it
happens, in one night. Many alien UFO sighting occur around crop circles, and we wonder if they are trying
to get a message to us.

Fact to Know about Kepler:

People have reported seeing shadows
circling Kepler 22b in random patterns.
They think these are giant air beasts that
absorb air and carbon molecules.

So, to answer
do exist!

1) The number of galaxies; an estimated 50 billion galaxies are visible with modern telescopes and
the total number in the universe must surely exceed this number by a huge factor, but we will be
conservative and simply double it. That's 100,000,000,000 galaxies in the universe.
2) The number of stars; as many as hundreds of billions in each galaxy. Lets call it 100 billion.
That's 100,000,000,000 stars per galaxy. Surely there are undeniable opportunities for life there.

3)The number of stars that have planetary systems; the original extra-solar system planet hunting
technology dictated that a star needed to be to close to us for a planet to be detected, usually by
the stars 'wobble'. Better technology that allows us to measure the dimming of a stars brightness
when a planet crosses its disk has now changed planet hunting and new planets are being
discovered at an ever increasing rate. In August 2003, around 100 planets were discovered so we
had very little data to work on for this estimate. Even so, most cosmologists believe that planetary
formation around a star is common place. For the sake of argument let us say it's not and rate it at
only one in a million and only one planet in each system, as we want a realistic estimate, not an
exaggerated one. That results in:
10,000,000,000,000,000 planets in the universe. Ten million, billion, as a good ol estimate.

5) The number planets capable of supporting life; let's assume that this is very rare among planets
and rate it at only one in a million. Simple division results in:
10,000,000,000 planets in the universe capable of producing life. Ten billion!
