Should

freedom be sacrificed in the name of national security

No I don't believe that freedom should be sacrificed in the name of national security. Why I believe
this is because this means sacrificing other people's freedom and you should not do that and it also
means that you are going against the law and your opinion is that it is better that may be true for
you but not the muslims. And imagine if you were in their place then you would wish that they would
not sacrifice your freedom and that is why I don't believe freedom should be sacrificed in the name
of national security.
By sacrificing other people's freedom that is going against the constitution and so if they do go
against the constitution then that means you are not a good president and you are going against
what you wanted to do which is help the people and since he is not helping the people he is not
doing his job that is like a teacher not teaching and so we should relate this to the story of
korematsu cause he was a japanese american who refused to leave his home for interment and
for
example, in the constitution later stated in source B, the fourteenth amendment says that
All
persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens
of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law
which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States. Its clear that this
amendment was not obeyed during his trial. Also the Tenth Amendment says that No person shall
be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment
of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual
service time of war or public danger. Most of Korematsus rights were compromised in the name of
national security, which has lead many people to question Executive Order. And so by this it shows
that korematsu cause should be related to isis and many other groups and that even though there
are muslims you should not be taking away their freedom like korematsu did not let them take his
freedom.
Another reason why I believe that they should not sacrifice freedom in the name of national security
is because by taking people's freedom away it is possible they can take their cases to court like
korematsu and if that happens then that means if it happens again it is possible that it will go there
way and it would be better and it would give the people a better chance cause if this goes into
society it will be worse and if you were in their place would you be ok with that no so why do you do
that so that is why I believe freedom should not be sacrificed in the name of national security
