Book Summary 3: I Was Here
We live in an unpredicted world where anything can happen and everything is
unexpected. The book I Was Here by Gayle Forman shows us this. In the book the main
character Cody loses her best friend Meg. In the book Meg commits suicide and no one really
understands why. In the book Cody commits her to finding clues about why Meg had killed
herself. Here she discovers things she didnt even know Meg and she also meets everyone
that she knew.
The characters in the book are believable and the events that they encounter are
realistic. One of the examples is having a best friend and doing whatever is possible to keep
each other safe and being with each other. Although Cody didnt know everything about Megs
current life she exposed herself to finding anything that is possible to find out the mystery of why
Meg had killed herself.
The book also teaches us a lesson which is life can be unexpected. Due to the fact that
Mg had killed herself Cody came up with many knew secrets to uncover from Megs life. Some
