16 is very interested in using the
kindle. He has demonstrated high
scores in the phonics and
phonemic awareness skills
assessments. Although the
material presented in the
application is review for him, he
is very engaged and engrossed in
the game. It is clearly visible that
he enjoys the usage of the app.

He was using the Word Puzzle


portion. Players are required to
place letter puzzle pieces together
to make a word. He was able to
connect the pieces, but placed
them in the wrong location. I
provided support in identifying
the correct location for the puzzle
pieces.
