The purpose of this assessment is to gather more information about the thinking processes involved in the design
process. It is an additional method of assessment to support the portfolio.
The teacher may use alternate questions that relate specifically to the design without suggesting design thinking or
making links for the student.
Each description in the rubric is work equal marks. The value of each item is listed in the heading of the rubric table.
