To who it may concern,
My name is Ani Marcus, and I am a student at Branksome Hall. I am writing to apply for a position at
The Village Juicery store in Roncesvalles, Toronto. I live near Roncesvalles, and spend a lot of time in this
community, and so I learned about this Juicery as soon as it opened by simply walking by. Since then it has
become one of my favorite Juiceries in Toronto. I believe I would be a strong candidate for this position,
because I am very passionate about health and nutrition, and more specifically 100% raw organic juices, so I
would be very excited to learn about the educational aspects of the products and later share this knowledge with
customers.
I believe I would be a good candidate for this job. I am a very outgoing person who enjoys interacting
and engaging in social situations, both when I know who Im interacting with and also when they are strangers.
I have developed this skill mainly through volunteering at soup kitchens where I serve food to a wide range of
people that are strangers to me. I also developed this skill when I travelled to Madrid, Spain for a month on an
exchange and had to adapt to a completely new environment with a new language and new people. This skill is
beneficial when interacting with customers, and makes me a stronger candidate for customer service. I have
experience working a cash register, which is demonstrated as I participate in the annual Roncesvalles pumpkin
sale working at the cash register. This volunteering opportunity also helped me become closer with the
Roncesvalles community, and taught me effective ways to sell products using good customer service. Also, I am
very interested in nutrition and wellness. The sports teams I participate in every year show my dedication to
fitness, and my position as a member of the sustainability council shows my passion for improving the
sustainability of our environment, which includes organizing the acquirement of more nutritious and
sustainably-made food in our school.
I believe I can bring a positive and bright light to this store, through my hardworking and outgoing
personality, and my desire to learn and gain experience about nutrition.
I look forward to hearing from you so that we may arrange a convenient time to meet and discuss my
qualifications further. I can be reached on my cell at 647-717-4739 or by email at amarcus@branksome.on.ca .
Please look at my resume, which is attached to the next page. Thank you for your consideration.

Yours truly,

Ani Marcus
