Why the individual is more important than society.
The individual is more important than the society by miles, the individual makes
up society. The definition of an individual as a noun a single human being as distinct
from a group, class, or family a society the aggregate of people living together in a
more or less ordered community. The individual is more important than the society
without the individuals society crumbles, the individual influences the world by just make
simple choices. One of the things that makes individuals stand out of society is the
outlier what if they dont live in a society they could just be off by themselves with
attachment to society just not in it. You might say that if that one outlier can become a
society just by means of if that individual moves back into society? He/her goes to
society and make it bigger like the other individuals do society is nothing without its
people. To summarize this all up society depends on the people, the people are the
foundation.
Individualism the moral stance, political philosophy, ideology, or social outlook
that emphasizes the moral worth of the individual., The dependance on self you always
wont be able to depend on society but you know yourself you can depend on you.
Individualism is an ethic that can be characterized by assorted perspectives of
intelligent viewpoints. Nathaniel Branden a Psychotherapist who saidIndividualism is at
once an ethical-psychological concept and an ethical-political one. As an ethicalpsychological concept, individualism holds that a human being should think and judge
independently, respecting nothing more than the sovereignty of his or her mind; thus, it
is intimately connected with the concept of autonomy. As an ethical-political concept,
individualism upholds the supremacy of individual rights ..."(November 1, 1994)

meaning that it is just more than one thing to define individualism, respect to him or her
due to him/herself, also Brenden stated that individuals should vindicate its direction of
individual rights under ethical-political concept. Vincent Lombardi said Individual
commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a
society work, a civilization work which exactly supports my earlier statement. Without
the individual the society will crumble.
Society isn't trust worthy and often betrays us. Not all people trust society, some
people even fear society how will you live happily do you depend or fear to control you?
Our society could easily fail us. Capitalism attacks and destroys all the finer sentiments
of the human heart; it ruthlessly sweeps away old traditions and ideas opposed to its
progress, and it exploits and corrupts those things once held sacred. a quote by Daniel
de leon, society corrupts our fellow man, they may not start out evil but get corrupt over
time. You could argue that not all societies become corrupt, but we are look at most
societies and a lot are corrupt.
The raisin in the sun and individualism, the Younger family struggles to find
themselves in the racist oppressed world they live in. AsagaiYou came up to me and
you said "Mr. Asagai I want very much to talk with you. About Africa. You see, Mr.
Asagai, I am looking for my identity! in this quote Beneatha is talking to Asagai and she
talks about her identity meaning her ancestors, who lived back in africa before they
were taken for slaves.

In conclusion the individual's make up society, there is no society without

individuals. Individualism is more than just being 1 person it has much more meaning
behind it. The government that runs our society fails us leaving just us to depend on
ourselves.
