Demonstrate knowledge of principles of infusion therapy:

fluid and electrolyte maintenance, restoration and replacement

In unit 6, we review the different electrolyte balances, and how

dehydration affects a client. One learning experience that I had is that
there are multiple solutions that can be administered to a client,

I would rate the proficiency in knowledge about IV therapy good at the

moment. I feel that I still have a lot to learn about the IV solutions and
what they are used for. I was a little over welled with this chapter, at all
the information that needed to be learned.

By continuing to learn about IV fluids and how the different types affect
the body responses, will help me be a better nurse, and be about to care

see.
