Becoming An Inventor
This month, you will become an inventor! All invention prototypes must
be turned in by Tuesday, June 1st.

Steps to the Project:

• Step 1: Think of a problem your family and/or you have encountered.
It can be a big problem or a small problem.

o On the following sheet, write down the problem that you and
your family encounter.

• Step 2: Tell how you can solve this problem by completing the web
on page 3. Make sure you include five ideas around the web
describing how you will solve the problem.

• Step 3: Draw a picture of your invention on page 4. Label the parts

of your invention.

• Step 4: Create a model of your invention. You can use any materials
you can find in and around your home. Your model can be a
working model or a non-working model.

• Step 5: Present your invention to the class on Tuesday, June 1st.
