Makingnoteswhilereadingthepassageisasmartstudents
wayofscoringhigherontheReadingComprehensionsection.
Writingquicknoteswillkeepyourbrainnaturallyengagedand
helpyoumovethroughthepassagedeliberately,while
rememberingmostofthedetailsthatyouhaveread.Visual
learningisapowerfulwayofrememberingthingsforalong
time,andwhenyoumakenotesoutofthegivenpassage,you

makingiteasyforyoutorefertothedetailslater.
Itisalotbetterstrategyspendafewextrasecondsjottingdown

tryandkeepthenotesassmallaspossible.Identifythemost
relevantinformation,andwritedownkeywordsorphrases
thataremostrelevanttothetopicathandthingslikedates,
names,theories,definitions.Replaceallthehardsounding
wordswithsimplewordsthatyoucaneasilyunderstand.
Youcanalso,useshorthand,ortextinglingo,alongwith
variousformsofillustrations,symbols,treediagrams,
relationships,arrows,etc.Thiswillsignificantlyshortenthe
informationyouneedtowrite,andwillmaximizeefficiency.

forknowledgeorforpleasure.Readthemtoimproveyour
readingspeed.Readingtoughsubjectmattersandarticleswith
greatspeedimprovesyourcomprehensionskills,andcognitive

Agoodwaytostartis,byreadingnewspapersandmagazines.
Inparticular,newspapershavenarrowcolumnsoftext,and
