Red Bull
Red Bull contains caffeine, taurine,
B vitamins (B3, B5, B6, B12),
sucrose, and glucose. To produce
Red Bull Sugar free, sugars sucrose
and glucose have been replaced by
the sweeteners acesulfame K and aspartame/sucralose.
The original Red Bull from Austria has been exported to
China since 2014. The local energy drink brand is also
called Red Bull. Red Bulls sold in China have two
versions: a regular-strength version in a short, wide, gold-and-red can
similar to the Thai drink and an "extra-strength" version in a taller,
thinner, blue-and-silver can. Red Bull's slogan was "it gives you wings"
until they were Sued for $13 million. Red Bull's target audience is young
men mostly with extreme sports. These range from mountain biking, BMX,
motocross, windsurfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, kayaking, rowing,
wakeboarding, cliff-diving, surfing, skating, freestyle motocross, rally,
Formula 1 racing, to breakdancing. Red Bull uses music and videogames,
and has used celebrities, such as Eminem as a sponsorship for rap battels.
Red Bull owns association football teams, with clubs in Austria, Germany,
the United States and Brazil featuring the Red Bull trademark in their
names. Red bull is now such a big brand and is well recognized all around
the world and sell around 3 billion cans a year.
Relentless
Relentless offers a wide range of flavours to their customers which gives
them a broader target audience as they can then cater for a wider range
of people, these flavours include orange, tropical juiced, berry juiced,
sugar free, apple and kiwi, lemon ice and cherry. The amount of caffeine in
a can of relentless is very high and the can comes with a warning label to
advise that young children and pregnant women dont drink it as it may
be harmful.
Ingredients: Carbonated Water, Sugar, Citric Acid, Taurine (0.4%),
Glucuronolactone (0.24%), Acidity Regulator (E331), Colour (Caramel
E150d), Flavorings, Preservative (E202), Caffeine, Inositol, Vitamins
(Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, B3, B6, B12), Guarana.
Mountain Dew
Between the 1940s and 1980s, there was just one type of
Mountain Dew, which was citrus-flavored and caffeinated in most markets.
Diet Mountain Dew was introduced in 1988, followed by Mountain Dew
Red, which was introduced and was then discontinued in 1988.

U.S.), concentrated orange juice, citric acid, natural flavors,
sodium benzoate, caffeine, sodium citrate, erythroid acid, gum

(banned ingredient in Europe, India & Japan)
The first flavour which was yellow-green-coloured and was
citrus-flavoured soda that was developed in the 1940s by
Barney and Ally Hartman, who were beverage bottlers in
Tennessee. A revised formula was created by Bill Bridgforth in
the year 1958. Flavour changed to use high fructose corn syrup
in the 1990s.
The latest flavour was introduced in Early 2016, Mountain Dew Pitch Black
Freeze is only available at Speedway Gas stations in America.
