Gay marriage is very controversial in the United States because you have some people
who believe that gay marriage should be banned, and then you have other people who believe
gay marriage should be legal. Do you think that it is ok for the same sex to marry? There are 14
states that do not let gay marriage occur in their states. But other states such as New York State
have made it where couples that are allowed to marry.Gay marriage are accepted by many groups
such as Milennials that have 73% ,Democrats which have 65% and people with out any religious
affiliation which have 85 %.For both lesbian and homosexual gays ,they are able to file tax
returns; which means they do not have to each pay taxes do to the same sex of marriage.It does
not matter where you live in the United States of America, they will be notified as married for
federal tax purposes . The income for lesbian and gay couples increase, this is why people think
people are marrying the same sex for these reason but little do they know they can get in a lot of
trouble with the law and even face time in prison. Religion: Gods plan for sexuality and
marriage, states So God created man in his own image, of God created him; both male and
female he created them .(Roman 1:27) If God had intended the human race to be fulfilled
through both heterosexual and homosexual marriage, he would have designed our bodies to
allow reproduction through means and made both means if sexual intercourse healthy and
natural .In other words God created Adam and Steve not Adam and Steve. God created both
male and female to reproduce our humans.Also the concept of being lesbian and gay can create
more diseases and decrease life on our planet. The first hoomosexual person alive is now 5,000
years old found in Czechoslovakia barrier in a tomb, experts say they found lots off odd things
about the male body that gave them reasons to believe he was gayand what he had barrier with
him such as a hand bag.In churches a pastor cannot marry the same sex, you have to go to the
state for them to marry you because it is an abomination to God for a pastor to marry the same

sex knowing it isn't right. Not only some states but the Bible and Jesus himself does not accept
being gay in heaven. Many couples think they will be in hell for eternity because they think the
Bible states that. The Bible does not in life stated this you're going to hell if you're
homosexual. The people are mistaken of what Corinthians 6:9 states. Corinthians 6:9 states Do
you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not deceived: Neither the
sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders.
Sinning and being homosexual is an abomination to God. Those sinners and homosexual will
not attend in heaven when Jesus returns in the rapture. The day that you are born God knows if
you are born straight or born gay or lesbian. Music industry /tv shows: Today's music and
music writers are either attracted to the same sex or promotes same sex marriage in other
words ,encourages people to like the same sex and believe it's is OK to marry the same sex.
American songwriter/ rapper Macklemore came out with a song with Ryan Lewis featuring Mary
Lambert called Same Love. Macklemore performed the song at the MTV awards July 18 ,2012
to try and legalize gay marriage rights . At the MTV awards, they promote a lot of sexual
act,English Singer/songwriter Samuel Fredrick known as Sam Smith is also gay and happily
married.Even Tv actors are homosexual and lesbian and married , actor Neil Patrick Harris is
openly gay and is married, Harris stars in Conan and How I Met Your Mother Harris came
out back in 2006 and is happily married and has one child. Jane Lynch is openly gay; plays on
Glee. Jim Parson who plays on Big Bang Theory is openly gay and is happily married,Portia
De Rossi who is gay and married to Ellen DeGeneres . Gay rights was legalized on Friday June
26, 2015. Diseases; diseases that can occur when you are homosexual ,these people will take the
risks of dying and catching infections just to be happy with the same love but they don't care all
they care about are there feelings but only God can be the judge of that. Gay bowel syndrome is

an illness similar to a HIV infection These people can be cured with treatment and religion but
some don't want to make a change, because they are happy this way. Effects of having a child
and married gay: The problem of raising a child with the same sex parents is not good nor the
best decision .A child growing up in a household with the same sex parents can have the Child
confused, also the child can end up growing up to be gay or lesbian but you can blame his/her
parents.The child that is a boy of lesbian parent are less masculine and the child that is a girl are
more masculine. which means the boys are more soft and emotional than the girls because the
are not raised by men.Every boy needs a father figure in their lives also the same goes for girls
with being raised by men.That is why it is important to have both parents male and female
instead of homosexual and lesbians.Also if you have the same sex parents that child is not going
who to know who to call mom or dad. Positive Effects of being homosexual or lesbian: Gay
and lesbian people think there are many positive aspects of being gay/lesbian. Many aspects that
they listed are; belonging to the community , creating families of choice ,serving as positive role
models. Over 70% of gay married same-sex couples felt marriage had increased the level of
commitment in their relationship.
Gay marriage been around for many years because gay marriage couples been trying to
get a marriage license. On May 18, 1970 a male couple tried to apply for a marriage license and
the clerk denied the application, because the applicants were both men. The men sued the clerk,
because they said Minnesota law never mentioned what genders you had to be to marry. The trial
court didnt like what was going and agreed with the clerk so the case went to the Supreme
Court. The Supreme Court agreed with the lower court and the couple was denied again. Our
society wants the world to be gay. They promote it everywhere. Places and events like pride, tv,
music, and etc. Places like the Middle East will kill you for being gay in their countries. The

belief that our world is going to Hell could be the truth but thats Gods Judgement. Even our so
called president says its ok for being gay by lighting up the White House with the gay flag
colors when they legalized gay marriage in our country. There not even ashamed of it, for
example there were two men on a cross kissing when protesting for gay rights which was
disrespectful not only to our country but to our God. The first legal gay marriage was on May 17,
2004 in the United States between two gay women. Gay marriage is not what effect most
people, its the fact that its going against the bible. In the bible, it says in Leviticus 20:13 If a
man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall
surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. Gay marriage not only goes against God but it
just doesnt look right to be with the same sex. I think people should be able to love who they
want to love but at the same time its not right and we should follow what the bible says. Being
gay and married disobeys the order and laws of God. How do people say they wanna follow in
Gods image but they still do what they wanna do then expect to get in Heaven when they die?
You cant marry the same sex but expect to get into Heaven, because God clearly said that being
with the same sex is gay. People always say they wanna follow in Gods footsteps but do wrong.
Gay marriage cant happen because it just doesnt look right. It seems like in our country its
more gay couples than men and women relationships. It shouldnt be like that because thats not
Gods vision to see this world mostly filled with gay marriage. Most people become gay because
they had a heartbreak which caused them not to trust that gender anymore. Most people always
become gay because they not getting in a relationship with the opposite gender which forces
them to try and date the opposite sex. Gay sex is mostly affected by heartbreaks and thats what
makes that person want to date the same sex. In the book of Revelations When God comes back
all those who have disobey the word of God not only being wicked but being homosexual will

spend the rest of eternity.There is no turning back what so ever when you are burning in hell ,
thats why it is important for you to pray for those who are gay. I have family that is gay even
though it is not right i still love them no matter what.But all i can do is pray for them, also i have
friends that are gay but i show no change in myself i still talk to them i do not try to act funny.
Seeing gay people out in the streets holding hands and on social media stressing like drag queens
is very unacceptable, if you going to be gay just be gay dont be acting all out like that cause
then thats going to make you look even worse in life.Another example is at Pride which is a big
gay event that occurs in june , full of gays, transexuals, bisexuals and etc. Pride promotes more
and more people to either com out every year and to be gay.About 5,000 people every year come
out to be gay and marry their lover. Most parents dont accept the fact that their child is gay and
this cause stress depression and suicidal thoughts, because they are so scared to come out that
they are homosexual.Some people that I know knew they were gay since they were just 7 years
old but never wanted to admit they were into the same sex. The way straight parents raise their
kids can effect the child a lot by growing up and being gay or lesbian. Going to the same sex
marriage ceremonies can be difficult to plan cause pastors dont do same sex weddings at all and
churches wont let you get married in their church because of what the bible says.Same sex
couples have to either go to the state or rent a hall or even get married at home because of those
purposes.Gay marriage is spreading more and more around the world cause of what are world
promotes, do you know in other third world countries like IRAQ do not accept gay people in
their country at all , it is an abomination to them.If you are caught and youre gay you will suffer
consequences like being killed or thrown in jail for these reasons. This is why people come to the
United States because they want to be free openly gay and married. A lot of states have yet to
legalize gay marriage so a lot of people come here so they can be legally married. Being gay is a

struggle and I know because I have a couple friends thats gay. If people find out you're gay they
automatically wanna judge you and treat you differently. They have to basically try and fit in
because people treat gay people as if there an outcast. Gay people should be treated the same
way as any other person but its just the simple fact that its wrong. The way you feel may not be
the way someone else feels, so you should treat that person the same way you want to be treated.
I have people in my family that is gay and nobody in my family treats them any different. We
love them just as much as we love our other family that is not gay and thats the way it should be.
Everyone have different beliefs about the whole gay marriage topic and thats why its so
controversial. Being gay can also cause you to be suicidal for some people because they get
bullied to the point they cant take it anymore. If you bully a person that bad because you cant
accept them for who they are then they shouldnt treat you the way you want to be treated.
In conclusion, gay marriage should be banned and shouldnt had been
legalized in some states because its not right. Gay marriage should be banned because its not
right to walk around and see the same sex together. We should be seeing couples that are the
opposite sex and not the same sex because you wouldnt want your kids to see that. Gay
marriages will affect your kids because your kids will ask wheres on or the other parent. Its
tough to be gay but you have to try and fit in but I dont agree with it and feel it should be
banned.
