Students will be able to evaluate multiple historical and north American conceptualization of social policy on the one hand, and on the other,
explore key caribbean conceptualizations and specific socio-economic differences.

The class will build on the values and goals by first looking at the caribbean context of poverty, crime and violence to determine if those stated goals and values
are relevant to the caribbean context. New values and goals will be developed if necessary. A youtube documentary will be done to spark interest in the
caribbean context

Students will be required to write a blog or do a vlog for this section to reflect on what they have learnt
Social Media Challenge - Students will search Facebook or Instagram for any of the multiple assigned hashtags and comment one thing they learnt during the
session prior to being able to leave the class

This will be facilitated by observing the Whatsapp group and other blogging/vlogging content

By Using Youtube videos, Whats App group chats, and Social Media (Facebook and Instagram)
